Only Lovers Left Alive

Underground musician Adam (Tom Hiddelston) is hiding from the impositions of the modern world in a run-down mansion in Detroit, while the love of his life, Eve (Tilda Swinton), has found refuge thousands of kilometres away in the romantic casbah of Tangier. When she senses that her world-weary companion wants to put an end to his immortality, she immediately sets out to find him. Adam and Eve's love has endured for centuries, but their debauched idyll is abruptly shattered by Eve's wild sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska).... Can these clever and sensitive misfits survive even though the modern world that surrounds them is about to collapse? Amidst a soundtrack of sixties soul, garage rock and the celebrated sound of Josef van Wissem and Sqürl, the film stars John Hurt and Anton Yelchin in addition to Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddelston and Mia Wasikowska.
