When Fabienne learns that she is pregnant, she can not believe it at first. She thought that nothing would happen at one time. At first she thinks about aborting, but then she chooses the child. And she is looking forward to it. The environment reacts ambiguously and her friend is unsure because - Fabienne is only fourteen years old. Steffi, Lisa and Laura also got pregnant unintentionally and they too had to make the most important decision of their life at the age of fourteen. The four girls are very different, but their feelings and thoughts are very similar. In the end, however, the life circumstances of the girls are completely different than expected ... FOURTEEN accompanies four girls on their way from pregnancy to motherhood. The film shows the consequences of this decision, how the girls and their environment deal with the new situation, and how they master their lives with a child.
