At 3 a.m. Central European Time in Finnmarksvidda, the work of Ann-Katharina and her Sámi friends with their reindeer is finished. Ann-Katharina's family is asleep. As the last one awake, she wants to enjoy the peace and quiet and goes fishing at the lake. While she is throwing out her line, she talks about her worries: a power line will cut the reindeer's summer pastures in half. Ann-Katharina fears that this disturbance will hamper the animals' needs to feed in peace and quiet. Buildings and fences further decimate their grazing area. The port of Rotterdam operates around the clock. 27-year-old Elina works here as a water clerk. She mediates between the ship's crew and the mainland. On board a tanker, she discusses the schedule of the ship's short port stop with the captain. For some night owls, the night is drawing to a close. Time to briefly discuss a few more profound questions. What does love mean for the friends of queer youtuber Candycrash? What do Estonian singers Lysann and Helen think about the state of Europe?
